Description of Proposed Bond Projects voting on 14th day of February, 2023:
PROPOSITION NO. 1
to perform improvements district wide to include, but not be limited to: acquire and install entry doors, stage, sprinkler system, playground equipment, digital sign, fencing, and lighting; and general maintenance, as needed $303,000.00
to acquire and install technology district wide as needed to include, but not limited to: Smart TV’s and 1-to-1 devices from the proceeds of bonds maturing within five (5) years from their date $250,000.00
to renovate/remodel and/or acquire the softball and baseball fields to include but not be limited to: dugouts, locker rooms, and fencing $215.000.00
to acquire athletic uniforms from the proceeds of bonds maturing within five (5) years from their date $32,000.00
to acquire school owned vehicle(s) for District use from the proceeds of bonds maturing within five (5) years from their date $30,000.00
TOTAL: $830,000.00
PROPOSITION NO. 2
to acquire vehicle(s) for pupil transportation from the proceeds of bonds maturing within five (5) years from their date $285,000.00
Description of Unpaid/Unfinished Bonds Previously Approved by Voters of the Jurisdiction:
As of the 14th day of February, 2023, Independent School District No. 17, Creek County, Oklahoma, has 1 General Obligation bond issue(s) outstanding:
$635,000 Combined Purpose Bonds of 2018, dated September 1, 2018 ($165,000 outstanding in principal as of the 14th day of February, 2023).
Detailed Description of the Use of Previous Bond Proceeds:
(Improvements performed at 9352 South 436 West Avenue, Drumright, Oklahoma)
to renovate, repair and/or remodel school sites to include but not be limited to; HVAC, water system, lighting and roofing district-wide $310,000.00
to purchase new textbooks and computers $210,000.00
to acquire vehicle(s) for pupil transportation $115,000.00
